In the summer of 2005 I read The Jesus I Never Knew by Philip Yancey, and it occurred to me that while it is a brilliant book, why not turn it on its head and tell folk about the Jesus I know?
Then while having coffee one day with my friend Alan Abernethy, now Bishop of Connor, the idea simply evolved: let's produce a book in which a number of people would contribute a short chapter each, and so was born, The Jesus I Know, just recently published.
