As part of Hope '08, we'll be having an element that is unique to the North East; we're delighted to tell you that J.John has accepted our invitation to deliver his Just 10 series both north and south of the region between April - June 2008.
J.John, director of The Philo Trust, is regarded by many as the most gifted evangelistic communicator in the UK today. In recent years he has felt God's calling to impact thousands with the Good News of Christ by preaching the relevance of the Ten Commandments for people's lives in the 21st century - under the heading of 'Just 10'
The Evangelical Alliance recently produced a report about effective evangelism.

- Evangelism is most effective when associated with lifestyle
- Evangelism is most effective when relational
- Evangelism is most effective when it bridges the culture gap
We believe that the Just 10 series uses all these principles and provides a tool for effective evangelism
People of all ages and backgrounds from the North East.
People who only come to Church for weddings and funerals.
People we know and love.
People we pray for. Just 10 is for everyone.
The Just 10 series will run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for 10 weeks between April 22nd and June 25th 2008
Week by week J.John will be working through the 10 commandments, starting with number 10 and working backwards:
Week 1 - Find Contentment
Week 2 - Hold to the Truth
Week 3 - Prosper with a Clear Conscience
Week 4 - "Affair-Proof" your Relationships
Week 5 - Manage Your Anger
Week 6 - Keep the Peace with your Parents
Week 7 - Catch your Breath
Week 8 - Take God Seriously
Week 9 - Know God
Week 10 - Live by Priorities
It builds on what is happening in local churches.
It provides an opportunity for people to share openly.
It prepares the way for local evangelistic initiatives
It has the potentional to impact the communities in which we live
One evening each week will be in the north of the region and the other in the south of the region
We are planning to have two Big Top tents, one 6000 seater and one 8000 seater.
