Philo Trust - Giving

Giving

As a charity, Philo Trust is dependent upon donations for its work. You can help expand and sustain our efforts through financial support. You can give directly by cheque, credit card, standing order, and online.

why give?

  • Invitations continue to pour in for speaking engagements and missions, and we want to meet that need to equip the Church and extend the Kingdom.
  • With support, we can also develop and expand the office base to facilitate growing projects as well as provide the resources to pursue the many opportunities we encounter.

Won't you consider joining me in supporting this ministry? We want to continue reaching a wide and diverse audience. It is only through financial support, that we can build on our solid base of personnel, experience and resources. We realise there are many other requests and needs to consider, but we are convinced that helping Lost people get to Heaven via Kings Cross (the only route) is of primary importance and secondly, that we equip and enable others to do the same.

Payroll Giving

For employees, Payroll Giving is a very tax-effective way of making donations. Donations are deducted before tax, so each pound donated by a basic rate taxpayer costs 80p and each pound donated by a higher rate taxpayer costs 60p. Ask your employer if you are able to donate in this way. If your employer has not yet signed up with a Payroll Giving Agency, we will be pleased to provide details – just let us know.

If you would like to obtain further details or discuss any of these options,

please give us a ring – 01923 287777

SHARE GIVING

Donation of shares is eligible for income tax relief and capital gains tax does not apply. You may either transfer shares to us or sell shares on our behalf and donate the proceeds to us. However, it is most important that you inform us before an actual transfer/sale in order to secure your eligibility for tax relief.

If you would like to obtain further details or discuss any of these options,

please give us a ring – 01923 287777

LEGACY

Leaving a legacy is a significant way of continuing to support our ministry. Charitable bequests are paid before tax is deducted, thereby reducing liability to inheritance tax, where applicable.

Please let us know if you would like further information about leaving a legacy.

If you would like to obtain further details or discuss any of these options,

please give us a ring – 01923 287777

giftaid it

If you are a UK tax payer and you sign the Gift Aid declaration, we are able to claim 28.2p from HMRC for each £1 you donate at no cost to you and, if you are a higher rate taxpayer, you can reclaim tax via your tax return.

If you would like to obtain further details or discuss any of these options,

please give us a ring – 01923 287777
