J.John (Canon) J.John lives in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire in England. He is married to Killy and they have three sons, Michael, Simeon and Benjamin.
J.John is a speaker with an appeal that transcends gender, age, race, culture and occupation.

Does J.John charge for speaking engagements?

J.John does not charge to speak at events but a generous honorarium is greatly appreciated to keep the ministry of Philo Trust going. We also, kindly ask that any expenses incurred will be reimbursed. This will include mileage.

Will J.John be travelling alone?

J.John generally travels with his P.A but sometimes with his wife Killy but please confirm with J.John’s P.A. as sometimes he brings guests with him.

Does J.John need overnight accommodation?

Please check with J.John’s P.A. as he does not often need overnight accommodation. If it is requested, we would appreciate two rooms booked for J.John and his P.A. Samuel. Philo Trust will pay for Samuel's room.

Does J.John have any dietary requirements?

J.John is allergic to sesame seeds, sesame oil, soy sauce (main ingredients of Chinese food) and fish eggs. He can eat some nuts but not all. As his allergies are quite specific he can often tell by looking whether he can eat something or not.

What amplification does J.John need?

J.John prefers the use of either a lapel microphone or headset microphone. If necessary, Philo Trust can provide a microphone.

Does J.John have any preferences regarding the stage?

J.John generally likes to speak from an area that is free from obstructions. Regarding lighting, he prefers the congregation to be well lit, and, where possible, to avoid bright spotlights. If you have any queries, please speak with J.John’s PA.
