This year Philo Trust celebrates 30 years in ministry and we are enormously humbled by the Lord’s Grace, which has abounded through our ministry; we are also humbled by the many and varied opportunities the Lord has given us to preach the gospel, encourage leaders, mentor evangelists and equip the church to share the Good News of Christ with others. We thank the Lord for his faithfulness and for the thousands of people who have been transformed through our ministry throughout the UK and around the world.
We also thank the Lord for each of you and the part you have played in supporting us both prayerfully and financially. We have appreciated all your letters and emails of encouragement, support and your stories of the fruit of our ministry in your lives.
As we prepare to enter our fourth decade we have more opportunities than we have ever had to teach the gospel and train the church with the help of technology, such as social networking, our website, TV, radio and publishing.
In order to undergird this development of our mission, we would like to introduce you to our new PARTNER scheme. With your ongoing support in this, we know we can more effectively expand our ministry for ‘such a time as this’.
We trust that you have enjoyed receiving and reading our Philo magazine over the years and that you have found it to be an insightful window into our ministry. From now, as part of our PARTNER scheme, we will be sending regular newsletters with a reflection, a report and a list of prayer requests. Also, we will be sending articles and news by email so we are better able to respond to issues and concerns around the world without paper, printing and postage.
We are asking our PARTNERS to commit to pray for us and support our ministry by donating £4 each month to invest in our fourth decade of ministry in teaching the gospel, training leaders, evangelists and the Church, and developing the use of new media. That is less than £1 per week. Of course, we would value it enormously if you are in a position to give more. We would also appreciate your giving being made by monthly standing order, as this helps us to budget more wisely for the future.
